How To Get Maimed In Zambia If You’re Afraid Of Heights

Bungee-jumping over the Zambesi River is not on my bucket list. Actually, neither is bungee-jumping anywhere. I can imagine vomiting just after the first bounce, falling then at the same rate as a raincloud of emesis, then being pulled back up the Victoria Falls bridge covered in fluid from both ends.

Luckily, there are other options to sate your appetite for danger (mostly involving getting too close to wild animals). We were definitely game for that, from feeding lions & elephants to Shobana trying to get trampled by a giraffe to me taking close-up portraits of wild monkeys.

Victoria Falls was an incredible and picturesque spectacle. We were also treated to more world-class Indian cuisine here. Great memories hanging with friends at the Royal Livingstone scaring off other patrons getting rowdy playing a South African card game until the bar closed.
